Originally supposed to launch in August alongside the brand new Xbox One and PS4 editions of Minecraft pe skins, 4J Studios' PS Vita port from the popular franchise was unfortunately delayed and is still currently in development. Even after Minecraft eventually launched late on current-gen platforms earlier this year, the planned handheld version was further postponed. Giving fans an update around the development process on Minecraft: PS Vita Edition, 4J Studios confirmed on Sept. 16 actually still hard at work on removing bugs but expect you'll send the title off for certification soon.
The addition of infinitely generated maps to iOS and Android platforms might raise the eyebrows of console players who are still hindered by limited worlds despite their stronger builds running on more powerful and dedicated hardware.
